The secret to great looking indoor succulents is bright indirect light and decent humidity.  Without adequate light, they will do okay, but will not thrive.  Below are some photos of succulents in an indoor office atrium that has great natural lighting. Even though this office is located in a dry area in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, a large water feature in the building creates additional humidity that is perfect for these plants.
